The RN-to-BSN program at the KU School of Nursing provides registered nurses a flexible format to complete their bachelor's degrees and expand their career options. It's all online and accessible 24 hours a day.

The program can be completed in as little as one calendar year of full-time study or up to five years of part-time study. And, you can enter the program at any semester, spring, summer or fall.

In the KU School of Nursing's RN-to-BSN program, you can refresh your skills and learn new ones, with a curriculum that will broaden your abilities in many areas, including leadership and critical thinking.

To get started, follow these three easy steps:

Step 1: Complete Prerequisite Courses

Sixty credits of liberal arts and sciences courses are required prior to admission.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

Applications, including transcripts and references, must be submitted by the deadline appropriate for your start date: Oct. 1 for spring semester admission; March 1 for summer; June 1 for fall. 

Step 3: Complete the KU BSN courses

The online RN-to-BSN program provides you with the ultimate in scheduling flexibility and convenience. No on-campus time is required.
