Aaronson and Bott honored by the Midwest Nursing Research Society

Several students and faculty from the University of Kansas School of Nursing recently attended the 42nd Annual Research Conference, sponsored by the Midwest Nursing Research Society. The event was April 12-15 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Two KU School of Nursing faculty received special recognition from the MNRS Board of Directors. Lauren Aaronson, Ph.D., RN, FAAN was honored with the MNRS Lifetime Achievement Award. Marge Bott, Ph.D., RN was the recipient of the MNRS Distinguished Service Award

Nancy Dumler-Montplaisir (BSN student) received the Geri Neuberger funding to attend the conference as a participant.

The KU School of Nursing will playing host to the 43nd Annual Research Conference, March 27-30, 2019, at the Kansas City Marriott. Karen Wambach, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, and Heather Nelson-Brantley, Ph.D., RN, CCRN-K, will serve as the local representatives on the 2019 MNRS conference planning committee.
