Carol Buller, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, GNP-C, is a clinical assistant professor in the Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist programs. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she maintains a busy private geriatric practice where she cares for older adults living independently, in long-term care, and assisted living settings.

She holds certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical interests include caring for persons with dementia, weaving palliative care into geriatric practice and advanced care planning. She is a member of the leadership team for the Kansas-Missouri Bi-State Coalition for the Transportable Physician Orders for Patient Preferences (TPOPP) initiative.
