Christina J. Phillips, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a clinical instructor at the KU School of Nursing. She teaches in the undergraduate program and is a preceptor for graduate family nurse practitioner students.

Additionally, Dr. Phillips practices as a family nurse practitioner at the Silver City Health Center, through KU HealthPartners, Inc., and practices as a staff nurse at Liberty Hospital. Her prior work includes experience as a staff nurse on a medical/surgical/oncology unit, as well as on telemetry, postpartum, and pediatric units, and she has served as a nursing admissions counselor.

Dr. Phillips' scholarship and research work includes an original research project, "Undergraduate Student Experiences Using SHINE," which examined students' experiences learning to use an electronic health record and a quality improvement study. She also produced "Disruptive Behavior Among Nurses and Physicians in a Magnet Hospital." Dr. Phillips is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Mu Mu Chapter and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
